Wilkes Health is seeking our community's input on Community Health Needs Assessment. Wilkes Health is encouraging feedback from community members throughout Wilkes County on its current Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). “Wilkes Health seeks feedback from our community every three years to complete these assessments. This feedback allows the health system to understand what community members see as the most important health issues affecting their communities. It provides the foundation for improving and promoting good health in Wilkes County”, said Rachel Willard, Health Director.
Wilkes Health encourages all community members age 18 and older to complete the CHNA survey and provide meaningful feedback on how Wilkes Health can continue to improve health and well-being in Wilkes County. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and all responses are confidential. Your feedback helps ensure health care needs are met all communities in Wilkes County.
The full CHNA process involves collection and analysis of a large range of data, including demographic, socioeconomic and health statistics, and most importantly, feedback from community members. The completed CHNA analysis and results serve as the basis for prioritizing methods to meet the community’s health needs in order to improve the health and well-being of Wilkes County.
