Wilkes County’s Community Opioid Prevention and Education (COPE) team want to hear from you, members of our community, about your thoughts and opinions on the state of substance use and addiction in Wilkes County. COPE is made up of community leaders and people with lived experience who voluntarily meet quarterly to address the opioid crisis in Wilkes County. We have created a survey to better understand how to help evaluate medication storage patterns, community perspectives regarding substance use, knowledge of current service availability, and community needs. The survey only takes a few minutes and is intended for individuals over the age of 18 living in Wilkes County. We’ve created both English and Spanish versions. Your answers will be anonymous and confidential, with no personal identifying information collected. The results of the survey will be shared with the community and our serving partners at a later date. Members of COPE are intending to host Town Halls around Wilkes County for open discussions with community members on the survey results. Your thoughts and opinions are very valuable, and your input is greatly appreciated.
